Reaching sizes of up to 150ft and about 200 tons, this speculative mosasaur is strikingly similar in both appearance and lifestyle to the blue whale of our world. It gulps up several tons of krill at once, consuming millions of the tiny crustaceans every day. Balaenosaurus also shares a symbiotic relationship with large schools of tiny fish. Being a gigantic lizard, Balaenosaurus regularly sheds its skin, which the fish then eat, providing nutrition. The Balaenosaurus also provides protection to the nearby fish, deterring predators from coming too close with its incredible size.
